Michael James Strenkoski, 51, of Falls Township, PA, died unexpectedly Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home.
Born December 9, 1969, in Scranton, PA, son of the late Joseph Strenkoski and Mary Michaely, Michael was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. He was self-employed as an automotive mechanic and a notary public. Michael was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and enjoyed spending time on the water, especially kayaking.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Nicole Lindsay and husband, Eric; two sons, Brandon and Mark Strenkoski; two grandchildren, Lucas and Allison Lindsay; stepson Zachariah Kopa and wife, Katie, and their son, Zachariah; a brother, Joseph Strenkoski and wife, Cindy; a sister, Judith Hurley and husband, Kevin; nephews and niece; and a great nephew.
Michael was preceded in death by his son, Michael James; and aunt, Carol Strenkoski.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. for family and friends at Mary Mother of God Parish, 320 William St., Scranton, PA. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Cremation Care of NEPA.
